Pussyfoot

A Prohibition-era alcohol-free sour of orange, lemon, lime and grenadine, traditionally made silky with egg yolk. Rich, citrusy and surprisingly elegant.

Ingredients

  • 2 ozOrange Juice
  • ½ ozLemon Juice
  • ½ ozLime Juice
  • ¼ ozGrenadine
  • 1Egg YolkOptional
  • 1 orange peelGarnish

Method

  1. If using the egg yolk, add it to the shaker.
  2. Add the juices and grenadine and dry-shake.
  3. Add ice and shake hard.
  4. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with an orange peel.
