Privacy Policy

Shelf Shaker is made by DtimesTwo Technologies LLC (“we”). It is built to keep your information on your phone. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking.

What stays on your phone

Your bar, favorites, shopping list and settings are stored only on your device.

Photos you take or pick are read on the device to find bottle labels. They are never uploaded, and the app doesn’t keep them.

Hands-free Pour Along uses your phone’s built-in speech recognition to listen for commands like “next”. Where your phone supports it, recognition runs on the device. Otherwise Apple or Google process the audio under their own privacy policies. Shelf Shaker never records or stores audio.

What leaves your phone

Barcode lookups. When you scan a barcode, only the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts and, if needed, UPCitemdb, so they can tell us the product name. Nothing that identifies you is sent with it.

Purchases. Shelf Shaker Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have Pro. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app id and your purchase history for this app. We never see your name, email or payment details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

This website

shelfshaker.com uses no cookies and no analytics. Like any website, our host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit. Your unit choice on recipe pages (oz or ml) is saved in your browser only.

Children

Shelf Shaker is meant for adults of legal drinking age. Anyone who says they are under age sees zero-proof drinks only. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Deleting your data

To delete your bar, use Settings → Start over in the app, or delete the app. To delete purchase records held by RevenueCat, email us and we’ll remove them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
