Old Fashioned
Whiskey, a little sugar and bitters, nothing more. The original cocktail and still one of the best.
Ingredients
- 2 ozAmerican Whiskey
- 1Sugar Cubes
- 2 dashesAromatic Bitters (Angostura)
- 1 orange peelGarnish
- 1Cocktail CherriesGarnish
Method
- Soak the sugar cube with bitters in a rocks glass and crush it with a splash of water.
- Add the whiskey and a large ice cube.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves and the drink is chilled.
- Express an orange peel over the top and drop it in.
