Ingredients: ¾ oz Rye Whiskey; ¾ oz Cognac; ¾ oz Sweet Vermouth; 1 barspoon Bénédictine; 2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters; 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters (Angostura); 1 lemon twist

Rye and cognac share the stage with sweet vermouth, Bénédictine and two kinds of bitters. Deep, spiced and layered.

Method

Add all liquid ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.
Stir until well chilled.
Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
