Demerara rum, lime, and mint swizzled with crushed ice and crowned with a red layer of bitters.

Queen's Park Swizzle

Ingredients

  • 2 ozDemerara Rum
  • ¾ ozLime Juice
  • ¾ ozDemerara Syrup
  • 8 mint leaves
  • 4 dashesAromatic Bitters (Angostura)
  • 1 mint sprigGarnish

Method

  1. Lightly press mint in the bottom of a collins glass.
  2. Add rum, lime, and syrup and fill with crushed ice.
  3. Swizzle until the glass frosts.
  4. Top with more ice, dash the bitters on top, and garnish.
